You're busy. Between the work you do supporting California's students and everything else life asks of you, keeping up with what your union is doing shouldn't feel like one more chore. CSEA Now is built to fix that. Once a month, we'll bring the news that matters most directly to you, so you never have to go looking for it.

More news, less effort

Here's the simple idea behind CSEA Now: the more you know about the work being done on your behalf, the stronger you are as a member. When you understand what's happening with the legislation that affects your job, the benefits available to you, and the wins happening in chapters like yours, you can make better decisions and take action when it counts.

Until now, staying fully informed meant checking the website, watching for the next issue of Focus, and piecing it together yourself. CSEA Now does that work for you. Each month, we'll pull the highlights together and deliver them in a quick, readable digest.

This doesn't replace anything you already rely on. The News section of the CSEA website is still where you'll find our full, in-depth reporting as stories happen.

Focus remains your publication of record, the place that captures the bigger picture of what your union accomplishes. CSEA Now is the thread that connects it all, a monthly snapshot that keeps you in the loop without asking much of your time.

What you'll get each month

Each issue is built to respect your time. In a few minutes you'll catch up on the legislation and advocacy that affect your work, practical reminders about the benefits and resources you've earned, stories about members and chapters doing great things, and timely heads-ups about events, deadlines, and ways to get involved. Every item answers one question for you: why does this matter to me?

And when something catches your attention, you won't be left wanting more because CSEA Now will link you straight to the full story in the News section of the website and in Focus.
