President's message
CSEA siblings,
As the holiday season approaches, I’m reminded of just how much we have to be thankful for.
After a busy October with an away Board Meeting in Elk Grove hosted by Elk Grove Chapter 831, Super Session in Reno, and our Board of Directors retreat, I’m more thankful than ever for my union family and our time together.
Whenever I have the opportunity to spend so much time with members across the state, I come back to headquarters in San Jose reinvigorated and energized to carry out the business of our union. Seeing your unity and our strength in numbers, and the passion that is exhibited for our cause every day throughout this state, is a powerful reminder of how proud I am to be a CSEA sibling and why I enjoy meeting members around the state so much.
As always, I take great comfort in my CSEA family and what we can accomplish together.
Throughout our distinguished history, we have faced many challenges together.
Since our organization’s beginnings in 1927, we have built our foundation on our ability to not just weather storms but emerge from them stronger.
As we prepare to enter a new year filled with new challenges and potential, it is important to remember that our strength is found in each other. None of us are alone in the fight to ensure the continued health and future of classified jobs and public education.
There is one thing we know as members of CSEA: no matter what, we have each other to lean on, and we have each other’s backs. And that is enough to guide us through anything that may come our way.
In Solidarity,
Adam Weinberger, Association President
