96th Annual Conference preview

Register today for CSEA’s 96th Annual Conference

CSEA is gearing up for the greatest Annual Conference ever, July 24-28!

Registration is open for CSEA’s largest event of the year: our 96th Annual Conference, being held July 24-28 in Las Vegas. This year’s event will mark the first time since 2019 that CSEA members from around the state will come together to celebrate our accomplishments over the last year and conduct our union’s business for the year to come. It will also be CSEA’s first-ever hybrid event, with members joining us simultaneously in-person and online.

Be a part of history and register today, and don’t forget to spread the word among your fellow chapter members.

Delegate Registration

  • Chapters must register their duly elected delegates by the Cvent email invitation that was sent to eboards on April 4, 2022. If you did not receive the invitation, email memberbenefits@csea.com
  • The email invitation from Cvent is for chapters to register both their in-person AND virtual delegates.
  • Early Registration (on or before July 1): $150 delegate registration fee.
  • Late registration (July 1 to July 18): $200.
  • Delegate registration closes for chapters on July 18; there will be no on-site registration.
  • Registered delegates will receive a conference bag, souvenir lapel pin, T-shirt, five KN95 masks, admission to the Sunday night Welcome Party and Wednesday night Dinner Dance.

Visitor Registration

  • For the first time, member visitors have the option to watch the conference for FREE either in person or online.
  • In-Person members who plan to attend the conference in Las Vegas must register HERE.
  • Online members who plan on watching the live stream of the conference from home need NOT register through Cvent, and only need to log in to the CSEA website. If you have not created a website account, you can do that HERE.
  • In-person visitors who wish to purchase a package, which includes a conference bag, souvenir lapel pin, T-shirt, five kN-95 masks, admission to the Wednesday night dinner dance and a Welcome Party Sunday, may do so HERE.

COVID-19 Safety

CSEA’s Board of Directors passed a resolution last fall requiring all attendees be fully vaccinated for events from the regional level and up. CSEA’s definition of fully vaccinated is aligned with the Center for Disease Control, which is currently the initial vaccination, not boosters. The CDC may change their definition between now and conference, so please advise delegates to be prepared in case of this change. Vaccination cards will be accepted electronically via CrowdPass in July. You will receive more information on the Cvent page and through email before conference. We will not check cards at the door. There is also the option for non-vaccinated delegates to participate in the conference virtually, as shared above.

For up-to-date conference details, including the preliminary schedule, speakers or planning for the Humanitarian Fund, visit the Cvent site here. CSEA will also share additional information and resources about this year’s conference in the next issue of Focus magazine, being published in July.
